What is New Project Search?
A New Project Search report provides details on active
construction projects- from preplanning to early construction.
Each report includes the location,
schedule, project details and the key contacts.
What types of projects are included?
Most of the projects we report are the hard to find private
projects- office buildings, hotels, retail, multi-family, etc.-
with a total construction value of over $500K.
How does your product compare to Dodge or Reed?
We offer the information you need to:
1) Evaluate if a project meets your market criteria
2) Contact key decision makers to follow up on the leads
In addition, most of our projects are first reported when they
are in the planning stages (months in advance of bidding)
allowing you to find out about the projects faster.
Having said that, if you cover only a small area or need
specific bid documents, we recommend you contact Dodge (http://www.fwdodge.com),
Reed (http://www.reedconstructiondata.com),
or the dozens of other companies that specialize in this type of
information.
What are your sources?
Where do you get your information?
We have a highly trained research staff that gathers the
information from thousands of resources- direct from project
sponsors (GCs, architects, owners), city/state agency filings,
business/local publications, etc.
Who uses
New Project Search?
The entire construction community, as well as those involved in
supplying products or services to new businesses. Our customers
range from Fortune 500 companies to local subcontractors.
How often is the
site updated?
New projects are added daily. We typically add or update 100-150
projects each business day.
How many
projects are in the database?
The service started in early 2003. You can find the number of
projects in the database by location and type by going to our “stat”
section.
How
do I access the New Project Search reports?
You’ll have immediate and continuous access once you subscribe
to the reports on our web site. In addition, you’ll receive an
e-mail version each Monday morning of all of your projects to you from the previous
7 days.
Are the leads
available in hardcopy?
Not at this time. If there's enough demand for it, we will
consider it in the future.
How do I
subscribe to New Project Search?
You can subscribe online for instant access (recommended) or
over the phone by calling 866-316-5300.
What forms of
payment do you take?
We accept credit cards (preferred) and company checks. Because
of the monthly subscription rate, we strongly urge you to pay
via credit card- Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Your
card will be charged on or near the date of the first charge.
For example, if you subscribe to the New Project Search on January 15th,
the first charge will happen on or near that date. All
subsequent charges will occur on or near that date- February
15th, March 15th and so on. We do accept checks, but we require
a 1-year prepayment.
Do
I have to sign a contract or is there a cancellation fee?
There are no contracts to sign, no set-up fees and no
cancellation charges.
Are there any discounts?
Yes. For a 1 year pre-pay there is a 25% discount. You’ll see this option
automatically during the subscription process.
What if I
want to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel any time by calling 866-316-5300 or 312-223-1600. To ensure that the correct account is cancelled, we DO NOT cancel accounts by e-mail request or any other means. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm Central Time. We will provide an e-mail confirmation for your cancelled account.
How
can I evaluate your service further without signing up?
We offer you free access to two weeks worth of projects reported in the past.
